ROLE AND FUNCTION OF FINANCE COUNCIL
Canon Law also provide for the formation of Finance Councils. [ Canon 537 ]
"In each parish there is to be a finance council which is governed, in addition to universal law, by norms issued by the diocesan bishop and in which the Christian faithful, selected according to these same norms, are to assist the pastor in the administration of the goods of the parish and in all juridic affairs the pastor represents the parish according to the norm of law."
St Thomas of Canterbury Finance Council primary objective is to oversee all aspects of the Parish's financial activities including:
Fiscal Year 2019 - 2020 Financial Report and 2020 - 2021 Budget plans available HERE.
Members of Finance Council are:
Fr. Vincent Dang, Anton Vu (staff), James Besio (Chair), Thomas Beno, Jim Delzer,
Edna D'Souza and Marilyn Hofman.
Finance Council meets on 3rd Thursday Quarterly (March, June, Sept. and Dec.) @ 7:30; during the current pandemic meetings are conducted over ZOOM.
