UPCOMING EVENTS...

MONTH OF NOVEMBER

November is a month of remembrance and final things in the Church—beginning with All Saints' Day (November 1) and All Souls' Day (November 2) and concluding with Christ the King as hearts prepare for Advent.

In the Catholic tradition, November is dedicated to the Souls in Purgatory, whose feast is celebrated on November 2.

The Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe (Christ the King) on the last Sunday of the liturgical year, which always falls on November 22, 2026, before the start of Advent. It honors Jesus Christ as the supreme ruler of all creation, heaven and earth, marking the end of Ordinary Time and the close of the liturgical year.

Prayer for the

Holy Souls in Purgatory

by St. Gertrude the Great

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the

Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today,

for all the holy souls in purgatory,

for sinners everywhere,

for sinners in the universal church,

those in my own home and within my family.
